Notes from a DM
“In the Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) role-playing game, the Dungeon Master (often abbreviated as DM) is the game organizer and participant in charge of creating the details and challenges of a given adventure, while maintaining a realistic continuity of events.”–Wikipedia
Notes from a DM is an advice column on creating and running a Dungeons & Dragons campaign. You can read all of my columns here, or go through the index below to pick out which topics interest you most.
Note: There are as many ways to build a great campaign as there are DMs that run them. This is just my way, and it’s probably weird. But! For all it’s probably weird, I love it, and I’m excited to share it with you, just in case you love it, too.
Thanks for reading!
